Sister of River Phoenix, Joaquin Phoenix, Summer Phoenix and Liberty Phoenix.

Provided vocals with Michael Stipe on the song "Happiness" for the movie Happiness.

Was in a band (and quasi-religious cult) called 'The Causey Way' whose line-up also included her younger sister Summer. She sang and played keyboards in the oddball alternative band (signed to Jello Biafra's 'Alternative Tenticles' record label) until the band broke up in the summer of 2001.

Was in a band for nearly 6 years with her older brother, the late River Phoenix, called 'Aleka's Attic' until the band broke up following River's death in late October 1993. Only two songs by the band have ever been officially released (both on charity compilation albums.)

Went on tour with the Red Hot Chili Peppers as a back-up singer on their 1995/96 'One Hot Minute' tour.

Studied Music, Voice (Opera), and Italian at the University of Florida.

Is a vegan.

Now lives in New York City, along with brother Joaquin and sister Summer Phoenix.
